This should be a great year, 13 is a lucky number!
Easy, slow paced day today. Most everything is closed, and everyone seems to be in sleeping off their hangovers. After a slow breakfast we said goodbye to our French friends, Marie et Fransois, and their two boys, Thomas et Hugo. We had had fun the past few days comparing notes, and trying to find good food. They too were expecting warmer weather; Hugo is at the University in Monterrey, and they are over from Paris to visit. We have exchanged emails, with promises to visit this summer (in Paris) and sometime in California.
We set out to explore more streets of the town, and after a few hours wandering up, down and across we ended up in a cafe on the waterfront. We spent a few relaxing hours reading and drinking before moving on to a little Italian place for gelato.
Really a slow, relaxed day of doing nothing.
How often do I get to do nothing?
