Today we are up early, with ice coating our sleeping bags. We build a quick, hot fire, make coffee and cram down some molasses cookies as the sun rises.
By 6:45 we are in Elko laughing at the typical Nevada - style neon signs.
We catch the 80 all the way to Reno. Along the way we follow the California Trail; at one rest area we are one month's wagon train ride (three hours by car) from the California border.
At another rest area we come out of the bathroom, noticing too late the warning that our "Process" may be neutralized by using the bathroom.
Now, three days later, I am happy to report that my "Process" seems to be OK.
A quick stop in Reno at In-N-Out Burger for lunch.
West, up and over the pass to Sacramento, where we turn north for home.
A full day of driving, talking, and listening to music as the miles roll by at 80MPH.
